About

Born in what was West Germany. Raised on a corn-and-soybean farm in Central Illinois. Enlisted in the Air National Guard for six years, to go to college for four. Finished both endeavors, and moved to Los Angeles with my two best friends. Played in a band, sold mid-level luxury cars in The Valley, and rode motorcycles through the canyons branching off PCH. Enrolled in night advertising-school to build a portfolio.

Moved to San Diego, met my future wife. Teamed up with an extremely talented art director from school, and started working freelance together. Stayed with friends in Newport Beach, where I slept on their dining-room floor for half a year.

Got hired by a smart, fun agency in Boulder, CO, and moved out to the Rocky Mountains. Started recording a full-length album of acoustic pop-folk songs; continued trying to finalize the two-year process of selling a TV show; traveled to Dallas, to jump a motorcycle over 50 pizzas while dressed as a client's mascot.

Excitement is the best kind of happiness.
